The SA Aboriginal Constituency Centre is a safe place for First Nation students here at GBC; many of whom may be residents from surrounding or urban reserves. While GBC is committed to always providing a safe and equitable environment for all students, it is the reality that many aboriginal students may have a different experience at school.

The Aboriginal constituency centre is committed to recognizing the difference of First Nations students’ lived realities. While also providing cultural based workshops, such as, talking circles, beading, and tea with the elders. Other programs may include cultural events and outings.

Furthermore, the Aboriginal constituency centre is currently looking for a constituency representative to be the voice of the aboriginal students on the Student Association’s board of directors.
