The SA LGBTQ consitituency centre is a safe space for LGBTQ identified students and friends to support each other, their causes, socialize, build a community and raise awareness of the social and political issues.
The LGBTQ Centre is committed to providing a safer environment for all students, by increasing the social consciousness of different sexual and gender identities at GBC. They are dedicated to challenging homophobia and transphobia, as well as advocating for equal treatment. Guided by the ideas and insight of its members, the LGBTQ Centre encourages active enthusiastic students to get involved.

Furthermore, the LGBTQ constituency centre is currently looking for a constituency representative to be the voice of the LGBTQ students on the Student Association’s board of directors.
