The LifeWorks centres support you to make your life work.
The LifeWorks centres share a vision that respects and embraces individuality, and are a healthy community that supports you in being distinct from yet included with those around you. We are committed to the belief everyone deserves the same right to live and study within a healthy and safe space.
Our services are provided in a non-judgmental & respectful manner.
We recognize that student’s identity is experienced differently based on; age, gender, race, religion, able body, economic status plus many more.
Student Association Mission Statement:
We are the students of George Brown College committed to supporting each other in the struggle for student rights, the pursuit of quality education and the provision of services in a safe, equitable and accessible environment.
Food Bank
Students should not have to choose between buying their textbooks and buying their groceries. To help alleviate some of the financial pressure many students face, the Student Association runs an emergency food bank at the St. James and Casa Loma campuses. Here, students can pick up both non-perishable and some perishable food items to help to meet their grocery needs.
If you are a student who needs to use the food bank service, or if you want to make a difference in the lives of other students by donating, please visit a LifeWorks Centre for more information. The service is open and free for students.

Campaigns
Campaigns is a programme that advocates issues affecting students. Moreover, it gives students a chance to be heard and to represent the student body. Campaigns fights for student rights and ensures your learning environment is safe, accessible and equitable.

Constituency Centres
The Constituency centres are safe spaces for students to gather together and support each other, share ideas, socialize, build community and raise awareness of issues within their communities. The group members can also enhance their experience at George Brown by holding equitable and accessible events and workshops that aim at reaching out to the most underrepresented students and letting allies know how they can get involved.
