The Safe Walk Program is a joint initiative between the Student Association and George Brown College. Safe Walkers work in co-ed pairs to escort George Brown College students, staff and guests to local parking lots or TTC stops. All Safe Walkers are students who have been trained in emergency first aid and American Sign Language.

The service is available Monday to Friday from the first day of school in September through to May, with the exception of Winter Break and other days the College is closed.

To utilize this service, escorts are available from the following locations:

St. James Campus:

200 King St. E. (front lobby) Mon- Thurs 6:30pm to 11:15pm and Fri 6:30pm to 10:30pm

300 Adelaide St. E (front lobby) Mon – Fri 6:30pm to 10:30pm

290 Richmond St. E (front lobby) Mon- Fri 6:30pm to 10:15pm

Casa Loma Campus:

146 Kendal Ave (beside security) Mon- Thurs 6:30pm to 11:15pm and Fri 6:30pm to 10:30pm

Young Centre School of Performing Arts

55 Mill St. Building 49 (Student lounge) Mon-Fri 6:30pm to 10:15pm

Or, call extension 2020 after 6:30pm and have a Safe Walk Team come meet you.

TTC: (THE LAST 5 DAYS)

TTC goes on sale the last five school days of each month.

Hours of operation first day of sales 9am to 6pm then the rest of sales from 9am to 4pm VIP passes are 107.00 (transferable) Post Secondary Passes are 99.00 (non-transferable) To be eligible for the P.S you must be A FULL TIME degree/diploma student. All others fall under VIP including part-time degree/diploma students

Sales Dates:

January 2012 TTC Passes will go on Sale for only TWO DAYS December 14th and 15th 2011. The hours of operation for these two days will be from 9am-6pm (HIGHLIGHT THIS PLEASE THANKS)
